2014 was a great year for Canvas Weddings! In honor of Throwback Thursday, I hope you enjoy some fun snippets of the places, faces and fun from last year:
Even though it rained quite a bit on Hannah & Joe's wedding day, this clean, modern and classic day at the Overture Center was a huge hit. There were gorgeous blooms from Flora by Jamae, decorative lanterns hung over the Overture lobby and dueling piano dancing all night long. Photos courtesy of Creative Look Studios.
Jenna & Stephen's cozy wedding day at Lussier Family Heritage Center was a highlight last summer. There was a barn-side ceremony, an epic pig roast by Flambe Gourmet, a pie bar and sweet, simple details. Photos courtesy of Ray & Kelly.
Matt & Lauren's October wedding was the essence of sophistication. Set against the gorgeous backdrop of Chicago's Congress Plaza Hotel, this day was classic, charming and full of style. Photos courtesy of Foster Light Studios.
Karin & Jon's wedding was sheer joy. Set against the backdrop of Madison's Monona Terrace, there were pretty flowers by Blooms by Brandi, elegant draping from Event Essentials and pretty paper from Sugar River Stationers. Photos courtesy of Creative Look Studios.
Ravi & Todd's day was one of the happiest and most joyful I can remember. This India-meets-Wisconsin wedding was one of the most unique events I've ever been apart of. There were traditional Indian outfits, the barn at Over the Vines, and Costa Rican cuisine from Café Costa Rica. Photos courtesy of Ueda Photography.
Season after season, few designers have my heart quite like Jenny Yoo. The simple, elegant shapes, delicate fabrics, classic features and affordable price tags keep me coming back for more, and the 2015 Collection is no exception. Which of these dreamy styles is your favorite?
There are many, many things I can say about this wedding and this bride, but I think Susie's smile says it all. This day was sweet, fun, elegant, and pretty --- just like her. There were pretty flowers, decadent draping, gorgeous lighting, an amazing veil, and crystals everywhere. Many, many thanks to The Salty Peanut Photography for these images!
