This past week my Grandmother, Dorothy, passed away. She and I had a special relationship, and my parents always told me that I reminded them a bit of her --- we shared a stubborn streak, a cautious nature and a strong desire to keep the peace at all costs. As we were preparing for her memorial service, we came across some of the photos from her and my grandfather's wedding in 1954. So, in honor of my dearly departed grandparents, I thought I'd share some of those photos here. Weren't they beautiful?
Jordon and Kyle's wedding was one of the most gorgeous days ever. There were decadent florals from Daffodil Parker and vintage touches from A La Crate Vintage Rentals, all set against the gorgeous backdrop of Monona Terrace. Many thanks to Defining 78 Photography for these gorgeous images!
Alex(andra) and Alex are some of the most unique people I've ever worked with. All of planning meetings took place over Skype, as they are currently living in Thailand, where Alex(andra) works for Green Peace. This Wisconsin countryside wedding featured friends and family from around the globe, a sweet ceremony led by the couple's mothers, trinkets from their international love story, live band dancing and happy flowers from my friend, Alluring Blooms. Many, many thanks to Bobbi from The Salty Peanut for these lovely images.
