The Surprise Wedding.
At a "surprise wedding" guests are invited to a regular party/gathering, and when they arrive, they realize they are attending a wedding. So fun, right? I imagine that the long-term secret keeping/anticipation and the energy caused by the element of surprise would make this a SUPER fun event to work on. (I love the photos of this surprise wedding from 100 Layer Cake!) Thinking about surprising your guests with a surprise wedding? Call me!
The "Community Art" Wedding.
Have you guys seen the movie Rachel Getting Married? The wedding in that movie is simply incredible. One of the best parts of the couple's wedding weekend is at the rehearsal dinner, where the couple's friends contribute their poetry, music and well-wishes to the couple. I hope one day to plan a wedding that is chock-full of the couple's artistic and musically-minded friends.
The Destination Wedding.
In most cases, a couple's money would be better spent on a wedding planner local to the area of their destination event, a girl can dream, right?
I'm particularly dreaming of a couple who wants to bring me along to plan their Amalfi Coast, Italy wedding.... (Image via Pinterest).
The Double Wedding.
To make a "double wedding" work, I imagine one would need just the right mix of couples who share a specific vision (and a specific guest list!) for their wedding day. But seriously, how fun would it be to throw a wedding for two (or three!) couples at a time? Double the marriage, double the joy. Check out this double wedding (the brides are sisters!) on Ruffled!
The Hindu Wedding.
Hindu weddings are so beautiful --- the tradition, the ceremony, the decor, the attire --- I just love everything about Hindu weddings and I want to learn so much more.
I mean, just look at this wedding from Grey Likes Weddings --- the colors are so vibrant and the details are so well thought out. Incredible. Anyone working on a Hindu wedding this year? Can I follow you around and stand in awe of all of the amazing elements involved?
As a wedding coordinator, I feel as though I've been blessed --- the weddings I've gotten to work on so far have been AMAZING. Amazing couples, amazing food, sweet love stories and wild dance parties have been frequent in my world. However, there are some weddings that I just can't WAIT to work on. AND, following the notion of "ask and you shall receive," here are some of the wedding types I'm hoping to attract in the coming years:
This wedding was features the rustic, Italian countryside of Tuscany, a Jenny Packham wedding gown, and the photography of the one and only Jose Villa --- which is more or less a recipe for perfection. And perfection, it is. Swoon, swoon, swoon.
I'm Corinne. I like to plan weddings. I enjoy sweet and cheeky love stories, sexy flowers, lime-based cocktails & soft candles. This blog is a collection of those & other things.
