There are so many reasons that I loved working on Claire & Kryz's wedding (besides the fact that they are tremendously fun, cool people). Among these reasons are that 1) they were committed to their wedding have a strong sense of place (by honoring the places they are from, Wisconsin and Poland, respectively) and b) they entrusted nearly all design creation and execution to my care. For this wedding, I created table numbers with Polish translations, scouted and framed vintage maps, created all the reception floral arrangements, and so much more. Creatively, this was a seriously fun project. I loved how it turned out, but so much more than that, I loved Claire & Kryz's wedding day. It was beautiful, honest and fun --- just like them. Many thanks to Claire & Kryz for making me a part of their wedding team, and also to East Elm Photography for these lovely images.
Laura & Cody's wedding was a fabulous combustion of class, style and a hint of bohemian flair. Set against the stunning backdrops of Luther Memorial Church and The Edgewater Hotel, this day featured textured florals, soft colors and live-band dancing. Many thanks to Vaughter Films and BellowBlue for the video and photo footage of this amazing day!

There are so many things I could say about Lindsay, Zach and their amazing June wedding. There was a beautiful country backdrop, gorgeous florals, decadent Italian food, donuts, live-band dancing with custom head-bands for all, and a dog. In short, this day was a recipe for one of my favorite weddings to date.
There were so many amazing elements in this day, but the best thing about this wedding was that it looked and felt just like Lindsay and Zach --- bright, fun and inviting. Lindsay and Zach, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to be a part of journey towards "I Do." I hope/believe that we will be life-long friends. And, thanks to Tim Tab for these amazing images!
As a wedding coordinator, I feel as though I've been blessed --- the weddings I've gotten to work on so far have been AMAZING. Amazing couples, amazing food, sweet love stories and wild dance parties have been frequent in my world. However, there are some weddings that I just can't WAIT to work on. AND, following the notion of "ask and you shall receive," here are some of the wedding types I'm hoping to attract in the coming years:
Looking for a classic, clean, and effortlessly elegant look for your wedding day? Why not try an assortment of clear, glass vessels and candles? Gorgeous.
Let's face it --- even if you give your guests a meal choice, they still don't really know what it is that they are going to eat at your wedding. That is why I love the idea of menu cards. And, if they are done right, they can add some color and/or texture to your tablescape. Here are a few of my favorite menu cards from around the interwebs:

The first time I saw these crinkle fans from BHLDN, I was immediately drawn to the color combination: it's bold, pretty and somehow whimsically earthy --- a rare combination. So, I drew a wedding's worth of inspiration from the color palette. How did I do?
So, I've more or less decided that these state-shaped cutting boards by A Heirloom are the best wedding gifts ever (mostly because I totally want one...or three). You could get the couple a cutting board of the state they got married in, or the state(s) they are from. Seriously, how cute are these?

I am DYING to try a string art project! All you need are a stencil (or two), nails, a hammer and some string. Which of these amazing creations would you use at your wedding?
